台中市刺青師父高彬、信雄，上個月底應邀參加尼泊爾國際刺青展，不料第2天在會場裡遇上百年強震。兩人回憶，主震後餘震不斷，每當烏鴉群飛亂叫，接下來幾乎就會來陣天搖地動，屢試不爽。

在加德滿都舉行尼泊爾國際刺青展已有6年歷史，高彬與信雄是首度應邀，帶著模特兒與助理高高興興前往，沒想到竟遇上百年強震。

「雖然會場與飯店僅半小時路程，但這趟路感覺就像走了一整天似的」，信雄說，觸目所及到處殘垣斷壁，河邊還有人呼天搶地哭喊親人，也有人抬著親人屍體要回家，但家園已破，舉目四望，猶如煉獄。

「我們頭一天抵達時，就感覺當地烏鴉特別聒噪，野狗也叫得特別大聲」，高彬回憶，當時她以為尼泊爾的烏鴉就是這樣，後來餘震不斷，他才觀察到，每當烏鴉群飛亂叫時，接下來就是一陣天搖地動，這才知道是大自然的示警。

會場是一棟現代皇宮造型的建物，看起來應該不會倒，大家在外面討論一下，雖然餘震不斷，仍決定重返會場把重要器具搶救出來，一進到裡面才發現不得了，「倒是沒倒，但樓梯與許多牆壁都裂了！」主辦單位隨即宣布比賽中止，所有選手立即撤離。

強震發生在比賽第2天，高彬與信雄正在會場整理刺青器具，突然一陣劇烈搖晃，持續約20秒，會場的燈全部熄滅，現場出現各種驚恐的叫聲。由於現場陷入一片混亂，許多人扔下手中物品慌亂逃離，「我們走的時候還拿行李箱護著頭呢」。
